This skirt pattern from 1936 features a shaped seam in the front and a side zipper opening. It is a fairly straight skirt with fullness for walking provided by the shaping in the Skirt Front pieces. Any dress weight or bottom weight fabric will work, preferably something somewhat soft that will drape nicely.
