☀️ Bright, breezy, and just so summery!
This is McCall’s 8551 in the sleeveless, midcalf-length view, and I’m obsessed with how fun and flirty it feels for warm weather!
I ended up sewing a size 14 bodice (even though I usually make a 12) because my pattern envelope started at 14 and while it worked out, I had to get a little creative to fix some gaping. (Definitely stick with your usual size!) I added a dart to the back bodice and lining and gathered the front neckline slightly to help it sit just right. It’s a super easy sew, though, and I definitely want to make another once I get my hands on the size 12 envelope!
