Here is my latest and most probably my last make before Christmas...although never say never!
I was gifted this beautiful Rose Jacquard Brocade Fabric by @longancraft and was so pleased as I actually had had my eye on this fabric for quite a while and boy I wasn't disappointed, it's really stunning and I hope I am showing it at its best in the photos. It is very well behaved and easy to work with and I loved the 2 contrasting sides.
Longan craft have some beautiful fabrics on their website, there are several I have my eye on for future makes as some of them give very vintage vibes to me. I made the @gertie18 Elsa/lamour combination jumpsuit but this time the staples bodice and I adapted the bodice sash to just come around the top of the bust and used the reverse side of the fabric for a contrast. I love how in different fabrics give different results, this produced a much more structured trouser and i love them so much.
To complete the outfit I made the New vogue bolero as I loved the statement collar and sleeves, Again I reversed the fabric for a contrast collar. The Pattern is VOgue 2078
