Wow this cuddle fleece is so soft from Pound Fabrics and the mushrooms are just right for me. I used Simplicity 9456 pattern and went with a hemline slightly longer than the shortest length. I did not line it as the pattern suggests, but I did line the hood and pocket in the same fabric. I made this hoodie with matching booties recently, and I am so excited to live in this come winter! This is the @simplicitymccallsuk 9456 pattern - I made size M but this is a unisex and oversized design, so I probably went a little too big. I guess this means I can be even comfier! The fabrics I used are the @minervadotcom Core Range Super Soft Plush Cuddle Fleece in Light Green for the outer layer, and Ivory for the lining, and then I used the @minervadotcom Core Range Cotton Ottoman Rib Stretch Knit in Ivory for the sleeve bands. I cannot tell you how soft this fabric is, it is genuinely like wearing a blanket, but the softest most luxurious blanket ever. The pattern is pretty easy to follow and isn't overly complicated, but I am not super used to working with knits so there's some aspects of it that don't come super naturally to me. They suggested a lot of narrow hems that seemed to me like unnecessary bulk, so I did make some changes in that department, but I don't think that changed the overall result very much. Oh, and due to the size of this, it did become a bit heavy towards the end, which was a bit frustrating while I was making the hoodie, but when I put it on, that weight was so incredibly soothing. It's gotten very warm since I made this and I haven't had a chance to wear it much, but I am absolutely sure I will be wearing this constantly when the weather cools down!
