I made view C which includes the set in sleeve, side cut outs, a collar, plackets, a curved hem, 2 invisible zippers and a Partridge in a Pear tree. 😮‍💨 Your girl worked hard to make sure this sew along was thorough. I used bias tape to finish the inside and tapered the skirt . … How often do you sew ? On the weekends? When you need something for an event? When you have time ? Once a week? My goal is to sew everyday and normally, I do - as long as I have a project and trust me, I keep piling up the projects!😂😂Sounds like a lot but because I am so strategic, it really isn’t. Some days, I might be sewing just the sleeves , or a collar, a waistband or even a hem. But here’s how I end up sewing everyday . The majority of the time, I start a new project on the weekend (Friday -> Sunday). Even if I can finish it on the weekend, I choose not to. I just do the major parts of it , intentionally leaving the remaining parts to be done during the week. Three days a week, I will sew 7 -8 am, while I get my mind mentally ready for work . ( The other two mornings I am at the gym). During lunch, I will sew and watch tv as I work from home. Then after work (on my non gym nights), I sew after dinner, when I am unwinding for the night. I started a top yesterday (Saturday) and I already plan to work on the sleeve cuffs tomorrow morning and the hem after work. Today I will finish the collar and set in the sleeves. I already have my next project lined up to start on Friday. So tell me, how often do you sew? I'm at the people's job today lazily daydreaming of what changes I want to make for the next time I sew dress #m8404 #m8403 #samesewingpattern 👩🏾‍💻Side bar: I cannot be the only one frustrated that I can not find other creatives who have sewn garments I'm interested in seeing now that they have different numbers for different size ranges. #bombasticsideeye Its not lost on me that it's a marketing tool to identify who is buying your products but it's markers like this that have been used to justify exclusion when it doesn't meet the bottom dollar. #endrant✌🏾 My measurements span between both of the curvy tiers and the design lends itself to being able to sew my top and bottom without grading. Based on the fit, I still need to grade down at the waist as I don't really get the peekaboo effect at the waist. I've noticed that the new size range seats very high on me and that I should remove about 2 inches in length above my hips. #sewnoted I'm Team #sexybra vs bra tape, so make it work for you!
