✨ New Release Spotlight - 2019 Ram's Gate Estate Chardonnay ✨⠀ ⠀ This wine was fermented in very small sub-lots. An overall classically charged vintage, the 2019 Wente selection, which is grown in three different blocks, had incredible precision with delicate aromas of orange blossom, summer melon and petrol qualities reminiscent of riesling. 🍇✨⠀ ⠀ The Robert Young selection provided a richer core on the palate, with sun-kissed flavors of honey and lychee. The rest of the blend comes from micro-sections of our Faultline block that provide a lovely dose of perfume and spice to the dynamic nose. Fermented in barrel with no malolactic fermentation. ⠀ ⠀ After 11 months in barrel the clonal selections weave effortlessly together with plenty of drive and poise on the palate. 스페인에서 이고지고 온 보람이 있다. Ysios 와이너리 방문했을 때 여섯종 테이스팅 해 본 중에 화이트와 함께 가장 맛있었던 Finca Lagunazuri. Been pretty lazy on the gramsky of late so figured a delicious bottle of Burg should signify my return to regular social media activity! This 2019 Puligny-Montrachet from @florence_cholet was an absolute belter! Showing all the hallmarks of that great vintage - pristine fruit, vibrant acidity, and a beautiful pithy grippy texture. Highly recommended!
