The winter fantasy ball I attended a couple months ago sent us their attendee photos. This is the face of someone who poisoned a king for the good of the realm and would do it again in a heartbeat. Pattern: Simplicity #S9090 Fabric: polyester satin (it’s more of classic red IRL compared to the dark orange color shown here) Mods: self-drafted sleeve cuff facing instead of pattern’s full undersleeve Fit notes: Size 6 from shoulder through bust then graded to 10 at waist down. Our Swan Princess inspired dresses. I upcycled two bedsheets to make Abby and I “matching” dresses. Pattern for my dress is @stitchwitchpatterns #lilithdress I should have gone with the size I measured at AND done a full bust adjustment . Instead after trying on my muslin-which was tight around my chest-I went a size bigger lol…..it ended up too loose around the waist. Easiest solution for me was to take it in at the back before adding the zipper. It turned out exactly how I wanted it 🥰. I love it! Now I want to try it again but this time learn to make a full bust adjustment first. ❤️ I added sleeves from #simplicity9090 #s9090… I love those sleeves 👌 I made my ties wider and longer :) For Abby’s dress I used #bebekinspatterns Marthena. It’s my favorite dress pattern, all I changed was the neckline and added ties to the back.
