Of course, this was a vintage sheet and pillowcase. Swipe to the see the before! I may need stronger elastic at the waist (currently have 1/4, maybe need 1/2”) but otherwise it’s perfect. *chef’s kiss* Next up: Bathurst top

An absolute dime of a sew, four simple pieces and no interfacing. Just because you’ve finished something doesn’t mean it’s done. . You make something. And it’s fine. It’s great. It’s super even. . BUT you had this other idea for it that you kind of wanted to explore. And it just won’t leave your brain. You try and try and tell yourself it’s fine. The dress is fine. YOU’RE FINE. . But the thing is…you can fix the dress. The dress that doesn’t need fixing. . Soon all you can think about is this other dress you’ve imagined. You’re obsessed with it. . So you chop 10 inches off your finished dress and tack on a bottom tier with all of your remaining fabric. . And everything is just as it should be. . Some may call this crazy. But you are my people and you get me and I thank you 🙏🏼 . Go back one square for the before. .
