And now the costume for the 8 year old, made using Simplicity S9842. V’s measurements most closely matched size 6 but she needed a little more length in the sleeves and pants. I was omitting the mittens and shoe covers anyway, and had planned to add ribbed cuffs, so it worked out perfectly with the cuffs adding length. She loves how it turned out! I used POP pink sweatshirt fleece from Joann for the main fabric, and the gills/fins are pink canvas.
