FLEECE-LINED HOODIE🐣 This short-sleeve grey hoodie is giving Bill Belichick but is so cozy. I’m pumped to wear this both lounging and while running this spring. I picked up some fleece-lined sweatshirt fabric from the Woods Hole Fabric and Fiber Sale this past February (for $2!) and I wanted to make the perfect spring loungewear. Enter: the @mimigstyle @simplicity_creative_group #s9636, an oversized short-sleeve hoodie with a kangaroo pocket. 🦘 I watched the great sew-along to this pattern on YouTube. It’s a relatively simple sew, it was fun to make my first hood! 🐣PATTERN: @simplicity_creative_group #s9636 #simplicity9636 View A in size 14. 🐣PATTERN MODIFICATIONS: I serged the hem, sleeves, and pocket so I didn’t have to double fold this bulky fabric at the hems. The hem for the bottom is 1” and the sleeves are 1/4”. I moved the kangaroo pocket up about 1.5” and chopped 2” off the bottom. 🐣FABRIC: Grey fleeced-lined sweatshirt bought at a fabric sale. #secondhandfabric. 🐣WORN WITH: Pink ponte knit @truebias #hudsonpants which I never put on the grid but shared in my stories a few weeks ago. #OOTD I refashioned this top from a hip length sweatshirt I bought while studying abroad in college. I barely wore it because the fit wasn’t great on me, but I held onto it because of the sentimental value. Recently I decided to see if I could turn it into something I’d actually reach for when getting dressed. I ended up removing the sleeves, adding darts for a better fit in the bust area, reshaping the armholes and creating a tie front detail using the off cut scraps. I love it now!! I’m wearing it with my @mimigstyle S9636 pants. Czasem to takie cuda się dzieją, że coś mnie podkusi i do szycia dresu natchnie. Bo choć w dresie to ja się czuje trochę nieubrana (mniej więcej jak w piżamie), to sama przed sobą muszę przyznać, że wygodny dres bywa przydatny. I już od pewnego czasu czułam, że dobrze by było sobie jakieś takie wdzianko sprawić. Luźne, obszerne, ale i ładne. Uznałam, że sprawę ładnego załatwią wyhaftowane kwiatki. Najpierw miały być tylko na kieszeni spodni, ale jak się rozpędziłam, to i druga nogawka zyskała ozdobę, a potem mąż mnie jeszcze namówił na kwiatki na bluzie, skoro to ma być komplet. ⁣ Spodnie od dresu powstały najpierw (tym razem postawnowiłam sprawdzić wykrój od @ultramaszyna), nad bluza chwilę musiałam pomyśleć, bo nie mogłam się zdecydować. W końcu wybrałam model simplicity #s9636 (przedrukowany w gazecie Moda na Szycie), zwężając jednak nieco formę i dodając od siebie rękawy oraz plisę ściągaczową.
