The universe has been against me procuring this dress pattern for a long time. The first time I bought the wrong size and realised a year later when I went to make it. The second time I ordered the right size but only realised I was sent the wrong one once I’d gotten all my fabric together. Finally got the pattern swapped and am very happy with how it worked out (despite the amount of swearing there was while I was piecing together the colour blocks for the bust). It’s still slightly too cold to wear on its own, so I will be layering for the foreseeable future. • • • Fabrics are a dead stock white linen, mulberry organic linen, and brick red linen from @wearethefabricstore Dress- bodice is @simplicitymccallsaustralia #S9284 with a hacked skirt (with a whole 32 skirt panels) from #M7084 Tops are both #S8452 (I plan on making this in every colour) in mulberry and red brick ZQ merino from #thefabricstore • • • #sewing #memade #1950sfashion #1950sstyle
