Whipped up these cute #me2090 shorts. I used a stretch sateen from Joann and I really like the brown color.
Definitely had some challenges with this pattern, especially the fit of the back crotch curve and the size and placement of the back pockets. I used a 3/8 seam allowance on the back pockets instead of 5/8 because they looked too small to me. And I moved them closer to the center back seam by 3/4 inch. I shortened the rise by 1 inch all around and an extra 1/2 inch in the center front. I also used a heavy duty snap for the waistband closure instead of a button, to match the snaps on the front pockets. The back crotch is still looking kind of wonky but I think its good enough...for now...probably gonna seam rip it later.
