Today's dress for lunch was the vogue #v9338, without sleeves. I bought the rayon from @drapersfabrics last year and didn't really know what to do with it. I'm glad I kept it because this is a wonderful European summer dress. I chose this pattern because I didn't want to break up the pears on the fabric too much, and who doesn't love a swishy dress? Very proud because I lined this dress even though there were no instructions for it! It's wonderful to be able to learn transferable skills in sewing. #sewing #imakemyownclothes

I do love a good sleeve and these sleeves in Vogue 9338 do not disappoint. Made in an Italian metallic cloque jacquard, with lots of body, from @simplyfabricsbrixton these sleeves take on a life of their own.
