This year’s #MeMadeMay feels extra meaningful. Today I had a minor procedure to get a LINQ heart monitor implanted after having my stroke months ago. I was really nervous about the appointment.
To help calm my nerves, I wore one of my favorite me-made tops. There’s something so comforting about putting on clothes you’ve made with your own hands 😭- it gave me a small but powerful boost of confidence when I needed it most.
Grateful for modern medicine and the tiny things (like sewing) that help make big days a little easier.🪡 ♥️🥹
