Making progress on my #me2061 puffer coat! One welt pocket down, one to go...

I made a vow to myself that I was going to do all the live @blacksewingnetwork TikToks this week (Monday-Friday). I’ve been trying to get back to my joy of sewing. And the new @knowmepatterns are 🔥🔥🔥 I was on yesterday’s live for #ME2061 and made my first welt pocket. But today, everything under the sun was plottin on my downfall. Work was WORKIN (but I need them coins 💰🤣), doctors appt ran an hour late, so I was late to the live and I didn’t get a chance to cut out my fabric. So I was like, just forget it. But something said jump on anyway…..so I did. And rode the night out. I got to see @handmademillennial and hear her talk about her pattern. I also got to hear @maloriadesigns pour into my heart. When she started talking about doing the things in life that we’ve wanted to do. Spoke straight to my soul. A message I needed to hear. I’ve been divorced for 2 years. I moved from GA to WA state only knowing 4 people in the whole state (my aunt, uncle and their 2 kids). I got a job out here and said why not go. My daughter is in college and home is where I am. So…..I’m glad I did. I’ve gotten back to me and doing the things I like and had to put on hold due to my ex not “liking it” or “you won’t stick with it anyway”. And sewing was one of those things. But BSN has helped me get back to the love of sewing and learning A WHOLE LOT!!! So thank you all. I’m so appreciative 🫶🏾❤️ AAANNNNDDDD….I made another welt pocket!!!! #WhoAmI 🤣🤣 SN: my sewing partner was over it 🐾 He was like get off that sewing machine 🤣🤣

#ME2061 ❤️🫶🏾 Finally finished my jacket!!!! Really loving how it turned out! It’s a great pattern and has great video instructions. Loved the lining too!!! I’m a BIG Disney fan!!!! When we had to pull the jacket through the lining opening…..😕😕🤔 but it worked lol Had a great time on the live!!!! A lot of laughing happened!!!
