Truly, @MimiGStyle did something absolutely spectacular 🔆 when she created @knowmepatterns within the @simplicity_creative_group pattern line. I already love indie patterns because they are so unique, but to bring in a line that is by sewers/pattern designers for sewers under one umbrella, omg brilliant💥. Also I can thank the designer directly 🙏🏿 it's a great time to be sewist. 😃 Anyways, what I was getting at was that Halloween is coming, and I like dressing up for it lol ( I know, big kid 👶🏿).  I didn't want to make something just for a costume I wanted to be able to wear it afterward, so I grabbed Aaronicas pattern over there @needleandthebelle, pattern #ME2050 the collar version and made this beautiful sexy black knit "Witch for the Night" dress. Out of this sparkling ribbed double backed fabric from @Fabricland.canada , Omg, I love this thing and can't wait to wear it! 😍 I raised the collar a bit and added an opening at the back with loops just so I could add gold buttons, and added lace sleeves 💅🏿. Also, I made a lace camisole for that really low neck line. 🙈.   This is a very easy pattern, I used my serger for nearly all of it, and it's really perfect if you need a quick dress for an evening or a costume. Adding or adjusting this dress is so easy. 😍 Thank you, Aaronica 😊 What's next?🤔 A birthday is coming up so I have to prepare for that and Christmas OMG 😲 Where did the time go? As we ease into sweater weather, I'm able to wear my #knowmepatterns #me2050 by @needleandthebelle . Fabric #joannfabrics I did the reverse pattern on the sleeves (if you're able to see it). Did I take these in a hurry and not realise I’d missed the top of my head in the first picture? Yes. Yes I did 🤦‍♀️ Going out out so I’ve got proper clothes on AND had to debate which coat to wear! Outfit was easy - once we’re out of tights season this dress will go in the cupboard until next tights season so it needs to be worn! It’s #me2050 from @knowmepatterns in French Terry. Such a speedy sew! And the coat is a Kodiak by @stylapatterns that I lengthened about 15cm because I found my other one is just that bit too short and found a zip 15cm longer than the pattern asked for. It’s rare a printed pattern arrives and I sew it the same day but this has to be done. This is my first #me2050 from @knowmepatterns and @needleandthebelle and I LOVE IT! Zero planning went into it so it’s stash fabric and I also didn’t use interfacing because I’m a rebel.
