Track suit style tops and skirts. The pullover tops have a front half zipper, stand up collar, long sleeves with cuffs and pockets. The pull-on skirts have an elastic waistband with drawstring, side panels and pockets. View D skirt is ankle length and has slit openings at the legs.

I love driving my car, but today, it was in for its MOT. Although it passed, it had an advisory for 3 tyres, 1 probably due to pothole damage. So my bank balance is down by over £300. When my car is at the garage I get my exercise walking both ways. Probably a total of about 3 miles. I also had a client who has become a good friend come to collect some alterations I'd done for her, including adding 2 " to the waist of a pleated skirt! Then I settled down to some me sewing. I'd cut out this sweatshirt to take to Thirkelow, but it didn't float my boat whilst away. Today it's beginning to take shape. #simplicity3035 is an unusual make. Normally I can look at pattern pieces and know how it'll come together, but I certainly needed to use the instructions for this one. I used quilters washable tape to hold the zip in place before sewing. It really helped getting the collar seam on both sides to line up. It's a great double sided sticky tape that doesn't bung up the machine needle and washes away. I also chose to hand stitch the inside of the collar rather than trying to catch the inner folded edge whilst stitching in the ditch from the RS. The Challenge will run from Nov 11 – Dec 4. Each week will have a different theme: Welcome to Week 1: Cardio & Creativity (Nov 11 – Nov 17) For the challenge – you can do 30-60 minutes of cardio 3 times or more during the week. You can pick from the following: Elliptical Running Cycling Walking Rowing Swimming I suggest you try a new form of cardio to mix it up. You also have the option to a cardio circuit (all exercises together without rest) 5 Rounds (should add up to 30 minutes) – 2 minutes rest in between each circuit 20 Jumping Jacks 20 Knee to elbow 20 butt kickers 10 mountain climbers 10 plank jacks The creativity portion of the challenge will be to make one item related to athleisure wear during the week. It can be a hoodie, joggers, sports bra, jacket, leggings, etc. As long as it can be worn during a workout. Some patterns to consider. You do not have to select these; these are just suggestions.
