There's nothing more special than a homemade Christmas stocking - I know this because my godmother made mine! My first seasonal sewing project of 2024 is done - a quilted patchwork stocking for my nephew/godson! This is my first true patchwork project, and I loved it - it was a great way to turn scraps into something useful. My sister is an Ohio State grad and lives in Columbus, so there are some little Ohio/OSU details spread throughout. I added a painted "D" for my nephew's name as well, and it's detachable to make the whole stocking washable.
