My eldest, E, started in Year 1 today. Completely forgot he needs an apron for arts, crafts and cooking this year so in a mad dash this morning have whipped up a simple tabard apron from a pattern in my stash Simplicity #S9301. Made view D in a kids size medium. Omitted the ribbon ties and the button at the back as it just needs to be something he can pull on and off easily himself.
He chose this fab #sewhayleyjane fabric which was great as I wasn't sure what I was going to turn this into so I'm happy it'll go to good use! He loves a strawberry so was quite taken with the fabric when he saw it!
