어버이날 와인은 #banfiexcelsus 꽤 오래 전. 와린이 시절. 아직도 생생히 기억한다. 킴스클럽에서 세일할 때였는데 그 진열대 앞에서 살까말까 살까말까 하안참 망설이다 큰 맘 먹고 설레어하며 와인병을 집어드는 모습. 집에 갖고오며 어엄청 기대에 차있었지. 그 오랜 시간, 더 맛있게 마시겠다며, 고이고이 셀러에서 묵혀두면서. 그 시간만큼 기대가 커진 것인지. 아니면 그 사이 너무 다양하게 좋은 와인들을 많이 마셔본 탓인지. 한 모금 마시고 우와!!! 🤩 이런 느낌까진 아니다 ㅎㅎㅎ (어떤 건 뭘 잘 모를 때 해야 감동이 큰 법 🙃) 그러나. 말을 이리하긴 했지만 결코 안 좋다는 이야기가 아니다. 훌륭한 와인 맞다. 밸런스 잘 맞고. 부드럽지만 그렇다고 막 흐드러지진 않은, 15년이라는 세월이 무색하게 코어는 짱짱한 느낌. 이라면 와 닿을까? 향도 너무 좋고. 맛도 좋고. 그저 내 크나큰 기대에 부응을 하지 못했을 뿐. 병을 찬찬히 보니, 뉘여있던 면에 침전물이 꽤나 쌓여있고. 옆에 같이 있던 병들이랑 주먹다짐이라도 했는지 라벨도 살짝씩 벗겨져있는데. 그조차 세월을 보여주는 것만 같아서 오히려 요런 데에서 감동.
