B5719 Open-Front Jackets, Dress, Skirt and Pants
This pattern includes loose-fitting jackets with options for three-quarter or long sleeves, a princess seam dress that's fitted through the hips, a pencil skirt, and straight leg pants. The jackets and dress are lined. The pattern includes separate pattern pieces for different cup sizes in both Misses' and Women's sizing. Designed for soft light to medium weight woven fabrics like lightweight tweeds, linen, broadcloth, and stretch wovens.

#sewapril2021 Day 24 Go to pattern - Pattern #M6552. I have hacked this pattern into gowns, pj's, blouses and umpteen different styled beach coverups. I had melanoma in the mid 2000s and went on a blitz to encourage my teens and all their friends to stay sun safe and 'Cover Up' . I have done short sleeves, long sleeves, bat wing, open front with tie closure, knit and woven, long and short. The second picture is of some of the fabric scraps from their choices. The more say they have in the design, the more likely they will wear them. You can personalize them with beads, tassels, fancy clasps, whatever it takes. The dark green one is cut out but not sewn up which just goes to show I am not done with this pattern yet! The second pattern #B5719 was my go to nursing jacket pattern until my retirement almost 2 years ago. I have shown it with a sample of my hacks/fabrics. The pockets are customized inside with tabs, hooks and inner pockets to organize my essential equipment and of course my many pens 😉. This is #winning at sewing. I filled the bobbin once and managed to make a skirt and pants with this much thread left. I've been so productive this week too. Cut and made the skirt (#B5719) and pants (#V9067) (hopefully the big leaf prints are still in next year as I should have had them done at the beginning of summer), made my daughter a dress, lengthened another dress, finished her unicorn tulle skirt, altered a swimsuit top for a family member and hemmed hubby's pants. #sewproductive #sewingproject #sewingmummy #greatsuccess
