The top layer is the #jaliekarine made in a soft fleece backed knit. The striped top is a #freepattern from @stylapatterns #stylareine which is a raglan with a cute gathered front shoulder detail. I’m so obsessed with my new cargo pants that I made with @knowmepatterns #ME2054 by designer @keechiibstyle 🪡 I’m planning on making another pair as soon as I can. Here’s a list of modifications I made for this pattern: 📍omitted the second pair of pockets on the back 📍 omitted the third pair of pockets on the front 📍added a straight hem verses the ties. weekend well spent 💖 Joe and I had a great time exploring in St. Louis in our #memakes. ✔️not only did I make my coat, athleisure set and my shacket… I also made Joe’s shacket. 😮‍💨 (disclaimer: my quilted coat and his shacket are recent makes) ✔️we went to the gateway arch AND to the top. 😅 ✔️had custard at Ted Drewe’s ✔️ate at Lambert’s cafe on the way to STL. ✔️had a nice Valentine’s Day dinner at a local restaurant named, Robust. ❌We missed the toasted ravioli, but there will be a next time. 🤞🏽 My sew along for the shacket is live & so is the STL travel vlog. Completed @thecornyrainbow @knowmepatterns #ME2055 bodysuit + modified it to a top because I didn’t have enough fabric and the fabric used, lightweight Camo fleece, has absolutely no stretch. ☝🏾I knew this and still cut out my size, and to no surprise, it did not fit. Entering the chat are orange ribbed knit scraps that got added to the side seams, neck and hem to create a cute design feature and make the orange inserts look some-what intentional. #mamadidntraiseaquitter Paired with is my second make of @knowmepatterns #ME2054 cargo pants by @keechiibstyle. These are a grey mid-weight denim with minimal stretch. I want to make more! Celebrating Black History Month with another one of my favorite pattern designers, Nikki Brooks @beautejadore Spring is coming! I used Nikki’s shirt pattern #ME2052 to make a Shacket (a mix of a shirt and jacket). I added upper shacket pockets and lower slanted pockets. iI I’m super happy with the pattern matching and the pockets disappear into the fabric. The fabric is a yummy Burberry flannel from @nickoftimefabric. A similar shirt from Burberry will cost you over $700.
