S3048 1960s Jumpers in Two Lengths
Vintage Simplicity 1980's jumpers in two lengths. Features loose-fitting jumpers with deeply cut armholes and skirt gathered to slightly dropped waistline. Various versions include side seam pockets, buttoned shoulder or front closings, an overskirt with contrasting skirt, bias bound neck and armholes, below mid-calf or mid-calf length, tucked skirt, and patch pockets.

Absolutely in love with my Adult Toddler 80s repro pinny #s3048, the latest entry in my Wearable Blanket wardrobeβ made with three metres of mystery coating from @abakhan_liverpool and some lining (contra the pattern, but the fabric is SO HEAVY), and nice big patch pockets. A cozy Christmassy dress π₯° Pattern: #Simplicity3048 or #S3048 This was a fairly easy make. I did have to shorten the bodice by a fair bit to fit my shorter torso. And I couldn't be bothered to print out the massive skirt pieces, so i winged two regtangles and made pleats myself. But I feel it mimics the essence of pattern well, even if I did make it a bit longer. I even ended up taking the dress with me to Edinburgh in December π The pattern is apparently the @simplicitymccallsuk bestseller of the year 2024 π€·ββοΈ. I didn't realise until after I was done.
