The only thing with this dress is I had some troubles getting the hem to be even so the final dress had a much shorter skirt hem than I was wanting so instead of a ball gown this dress turned more into a formalwear/ fancy dress garment more so than a ball gown. Side note: third slide is a picture of the puppy I am getting!!!! She is a Maltese poodle cross (maltipoo) and we've named her Muffin. She is sooo cute and I can't wait to have her in my life!!!!! Here is a pic ( sent to me )of the modified version #voguepatterns #v9296 view B. My friend wore it to a wedding today. This dress was an overnight sewing project because of a last minute notice. It turns out great: no fitting issues and she loves it. The dress is made from crepe back satin (skirt) and a very soft sheer lined with tricot) I need to make this style for myself also because I love it too ( without the cold shoulders/sleeves of course). I am not a fan of cold shoulders and besides it takes away from the beautiful cut of the dress and is too trendy. Remove the sleeves to eliminates the cold shoulders and you will have a beautiful dress for all times, that's just my opinion. #precisiondesignsandsewing

The dress is made from crepe back satin (skirt) and a very soft sheer lined with tricot) I need to make this style for myself also because I love it too ( without the cold shoulders/sleeves of course). I am not a fan of cold shoulders and besides it takes away from the beautiful cut of the dress and is too trendy. Remove the sleeves to eliminates the cold shoulders and you will have a beautiful dress for all times, that's just my opinion. #precisiondesignsandsewing
