What’s better than one dress - wearing two at the same time! I’m wearing #s8640 over #b6911 Prior to #mmm2024 neither dress had ever been worn. The Burda knit dress turned out great but I found it too form fitting. I was mucking around with how to style the dress and was trying it with a skirt over top which led me to try it under a dress I wear as a pinafore. Et voila a new outfit. 🎉 I am Just Sew Happy that I have found a hobby that continues to challenge me and brings about such joy and accomplishment. I set out this year to stop being scared of certain projects and making jeans was one of the “big scaries”. This is Butterick #b6911 view B made in a great stretch denim from @mandlfabricsanaheim I made view B because it looked more like a straight leg style instead of skinny jean style. However, I think they turned out more like a high waisted wide leg pant which I actually love! This is a great pattern and the instructions were easy enough to follow. I added 3/4” to the crotch curve, which is becoming a common adjustment for me in fitting pants. I will probably play around with the leg width for different looks, but I think this is going to be a repeat pattern for sure! Nothing better than wearing your own custom fit jeans!
