Sometimes more is more. At least, to me. Lol I decided to add more florals to an already floral print dress. These are simple silk flowers from @joann_stores that I re-fashioned to be part of my first version of #v1858. The top flower is a detachable corsage; and the other florals were taken a part reassembled with beads added to match the zipper. I also added some "falling" petals across the back with beads as well. So this is my more is more. It certainly turns this dress into " not your average princess seam dress." Do you ever shy away from using a pattern because it appears too complicated to make the adjustments needed? Or because it simply takes too much time? Believe it or not, me too. Sometimes I say to myself, "I just don't feel like it. It too complicated." In my reality, the only way I can start to achieve or realize what I want is to try it. Good Sunday Morning! Expected temps near 80. It's going to be a glorious day. Posting my Easter dress from last week. It took me a little time on the floral embellishments. But once I got the design placement of the silk flowers and petals workout, it was easy to stitch them on. The top of the shoulder flower is a detachable corsage. The rest are machine stitched to the dress.
