My first apron is done, and I love the colors and 'Little House on the Prairie' feel! 🧵😊 Actually it was finished last week, but it took a bit to get the pictures📷 and type up my pattern notes (which are posted on my blog; there's a link in my bio 🔗).
I'm quite happy with how it turned out. It was made with Simplicity pattern #s9435 and Keepsake Calico 100% cotton. I had a little trouble sewing that point in the skirt 🪡, but it all worked out in the end. It was pretty easy to flat-fell that seam, and I like the neat finish it made. I think this pattern also works as a wrap dress/jumper!
On a side note, the herbs 🌱, garlic 🧄, and onions 🧅 are all up and doing well. That's Rose de Lautrec garlic in the orange pot. I got out my harvest basket in anticipation, but there's not enough parsley to cut just yet. It might be a while now before I can cut and dry herbs, because next week I have to go in for hip surgery. I'll be taking a break while I recover. 🩹
Hope everyone has a great weekend, and happy sewing! 😃
