Another recent make was the #M8567, it’s a kids boiler suit pattern. This was the first time I did some proper pattern matching. I didn’t buy enough fabric to pattern match the bottoms to the top but I pattern matched each pocket to its location and the two sides of the bodice to each other. Very satisfying. Lol. But since my very tall 2 and 3/4 year old is still in nappies, this size 5 is a little short in the crotch for that extra bulk. So I have a couple more of this cut out to make for him with an extra inch added between crotch and waist to accommodate that. I’m not sure how I feel about the fabric I chose for him either, but hopefully my daughter will grow into it in a few years. Lol.
