#memademay Day 11 I made Mia a cute circle skirt for her showcase tap dance. I used Simplicity pattern #S8027. She did great and was so proud of herself (so were we)! The song she tapped away to was "Shop Around" by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles. Super cute!

This skirt is so cute and girly, just the way my daughter loves her outfits 🤦🏾‍♀️. I got this cotton fabric from @hobbylobby a while ago and wasn’t sure of what to do with it . When I saw this pattern few weeks ago, I knew the skirt option would work perfectly with this fabric and it sure did👌🏾. She loves it and paired it perfectly with this striped top with no input from me😀. The only adjustment I made was to add pockets which ended up being too small but lesson learned for next time I make it.
