Cutting it fine with my #designindecember2024 entry! 😁 Here is my Max Mara inspired outfit. The approximately $2000.00 outfit is made from silk, whereas my trousers are a poly rayon blend knit, and my blouse is a georgette type fabric. I've also gone a bit opposite with a smaller print blouse. For the trousers, I used #S3036 by Mimi G for #simplicitypatterns. The blouse is the #fridaypatterncompany #patinablouse. I added a couple of inches to the sleeve width for more of a bishop sleeve and used elastic instead of a cuff. Both fabrics from #fabriclandontario I doubt I'll ever wear the two together, but they will both get a lot of wear separately! A nice quick sew, and so comfy with the elastic waistband! I prefer a cropped length, so took off around 10” from the hem. I love them so much that I’ve already cut the fabric for another pair. First make of the year, completed January 1! This is a @patternemporium_kate #hellogorgeouspuffsleevetee with the sleeves lengthened 3". I'm very happy with how this turned out. I wanted an elevated long sleeve tee, and this is it! I used this pretty cotton lycra knit from @fabricland.canada. It works perfectly with my second last make of last year, another pair of #S3036 trousers by Mimi G. I love these trousers, especially how they hang perfectly off my rear end.
