Thrifted @simplicitymccallsaustralia pattern #m7939 in fish fabric, both pattern and fabric from my stash 2. My 1st entry for the Sew April Blouse competition , vintage thrifted Butterick #b6249 in fabric from my stash- the cats is from @theselvedgesociety and the vintage pink speckle from @achievesewingbasket kincumber 3. Another thrifted pattern and fabric from my stash, bringing in the big floral pants with this Butterick #b6075 4. Another pair of pants, this time check chartreuse, Colette linen from @theselvedgesociety in the @merchantandmills #mmevetrousers paired with another fresh make for April a self drafted boxy T in scraps and appliqué from my recent makes. 5. The cutie in the middle is a detachable collar that whipped up from a damaged doiley and some liberty bias. 6. The #peppermintsomersetswingdress in slinky check fabric from @theselvedgesociety , this was the latest pattern released by @peppermintmagazine - such a good sew, highly recommend 7. My 2nd entry into the Sew April Blouse, a self drafted blouse with cropped goodness and a pin tuck neckline- made up in fabric from @thorpeandco 8. Now, while only one dress is shown- I did in fact sew up 3 of these dresses, and a T shirt for Bae and her friends. ‘Hand sewn bday presents is a lifestyle Brian’. I did also sew a T in this fabric for me. Dinosaur fabric from @spotlightstores 9. And a striped T in hand along fabric from @sonnyandscout using a vintage #thrifted knit shirt pattern from the 70’s. Not pictured is another minecraft shirt for one of O’s mates bday, and a yellow dress from a vintage pattern- I’m still working on the coat. Coming up is Me Made May, and while I don’t do a pledge, most of my outfits consist of a handmade piece. I made this unlined coat earlier in the year and thought I’d wear it this weekend before the weather warms up. The fabric I chose probably didn’t have enough drape for this unfitted style but with a few alterations to slim it down a bit I hope I’ve managed to make it work.
