The time has come and here is a look at my sew secret krismas. When I was asked to be a part of this wonderful group because I wouldn’t say it’s a challenge, who am I competing with? I said yes with no hesitation not knowing what I was getting myself into. But after hearing all the details, I was fired up and ready to go. My board was a mood,Instantly my brain started turning because my person really listened. after looking at my mood board a few times I was like I’ve never owned a dolce and Gabbana. I don’t even know how to pronounce it 😂. Of course I googled a few looks and it was right up my alley. The journey to get to this look was very challenging because every day I went to work and had something outside of work to do so there was no time for sewing. I’ve only made one corset in my entire life, so I think my person really wanted to challenge me . Can you believe 95% of what’s on the board is corset OMG. y’all know me I didn’t want to be basic so I decided to do some fabric manipulation. Can I tell you those strips took me a forever and a day. I cut out 2 inch strips fold and sewed them and they ended up in half inch. Don’t ask me it just happened 😂. Everything I did on my dress was definitely last minute even the split. I decided I wanted a Hoochie split. That thing came all the way up to hoorah 😂 so I decided let’s open up the split and make Jacob’s ladder 😂. The entire time I’m making my look I’m panicking and pondering who will help me to get into it because I cannot lace the corset up by myself. Luckily Mr. Poppin was home 😘. Of all the persons who I thought was my secret person, they weren’t. @annajmakes I LOVE YOU 😘 THANK YOU, I LOVE MY BOARD!!!!
