No one from my or my fiancé’s family follows this account (I don’t think!) so I snapped some pictures of these gifts for our moms. I love these and am going to make one for myself tomorrow! It’s the #s9409 #simplicity9409 pattern in View D and I skipped bias binding the arm holes and did a narrow hem instead. For the tabs I cut leather scraps out and exacto knifed buttonholes which saved a finishing step. I used a burgundy twill from Robert Kaufman which was heavy but a little more luxe than canvas. I might make mine out of denim or a quilt and wear it as a dress! Worn with my #antheablouse
