There's a new #tntpattern in town 🤩! Allow me to introduce View D from #butterick6966 🎉. It's a wide-ish, straight leg, elastic waist, no side seam trouser/pants pattern that is such a quick sew. I made this wearable muslin from an ITY knit that I think came from @fabricland.canada ages ago, but always seems to be available. At the time that I made it, I had a visitor who wanted a little sewing lesson so we each made a pair together and we were both very pleased with our results 👍. Aside from my usual length adjustments (I am shorter than average) I didn't need to tweak the pattern and feel excited about whipping up another pair whenever I come across suitable fabric options . . . I'm thinking a couple of ponte versions for the winter 🤔. These are great for travel, dress up or dress down, can be made in a variety of knit fabrics . . . what more could a sewist ask for?
