A fun little vest for a Friday 🤗
I made this vest using one of the views from #M8442. There are soooo many vest patterns out there, but I already owned this one so decided to go ahead and use it. It was a good base pattern for what I was going for, but I ended up adding darts to it in order to avoid gaping at the armhole. I also lowered the neckline. I'm pretty pleased with it! It's a fun and practical layering piece. It's also a pretty simple project that I made earlier on in the year during the haziness of my maternity leave (I think? My memory from that time is all over the place).
The pre-quilted fabric is from @stylemakerfabrics — this was part of my first-ever order from them and I was really impressed. I got this out of one yard, and after wearing it, I think I'll use some of the scraps to make some patch pockets.
Also, I wore this on Wednesday to an outing with coworkers and then I wore it again today to take Baby J to his 6-month wellness appt. 😭 Yay for outfit repeating and vaccines and it being Friday and the start of a 3-day wknd!
