My realistic make 9 plans for 2021 1. Shirt - I have new look #n6197 so I'll try that 2. Rugby/Polo Shirt - still need to find a pattern 3. Zip up jacket 4. Bag - I've made my own pattern so we will see how that turns out ! 5. Book cushion - for the little people in my life 6.Jeggings or some sort of bottoms suitable for out the house - I have seen the #sospants from @patternsforpirates 7. Girls dress - I think I'll make my own pattern from using a basic T-shirt for the top half 8. Warm cardigan - I have some thin ones but some in between lightweight and jumpers 9. Christmas crowns - hopefully next years Christmas presents I think these are all achievable in some form this year and I'm looking forward to the challenges. I made this shirt from #n6197 and tomorrow I’ll try wearing it with the bias skirt made from the same Merchant and Mills linen. It is hard with big checks to decide how to lay out your pattern pieces especially when there isn’t much fabric to play with. Something without a centre seam or opening would have been far easier. 😃I’m happy with the result. Did you notice I put the buttons on the men’s way? It just seemed to pattern match better that side. 🪡 I decided to line the yoke because I think it looks tidier and I hand stitched the collar down. I cut the pocket and back yoke on the bias. ✂️ The collar initially wasn’t symmetrical so there was some unpicking of the front facing to get the revere the same width.
