Here's the full line up of this year's Easter outfits. I made myself a frankendress using parts of multiple patterns (I'll post this next) and the boy a button up shirt (see previous post).
I made @simplicity_creative_group #s9281 for the oldest girl, but omitted the button front by cutting the front pieces on the fold. There is plenty of ease to pull on the dress without the button closure. I find Simplicity's girls patterns to be oversized (as in, my girls measure into several sizes smaller than their age would indicate), so I usually have to add length. For this dress I cut a size 8 bodice and size 10 length (and she is a tween).
The youngest girl has an aversion to waistband seams, but I did convince her to let me add some ties to give her dress a little more shape. I took #s9761 and extended the shirt into a knee-length dress.
The girls' dresses were made with a designer deadstock rayon linen blend from @lafinchfabrics_new.
