My finished robe and pj pant set from #thriftstorefinds vintage sheets. Used #b6428 for the robe. Didn’t realize it was a knit pattern until it was too late to turn back (crying and laughing emoji) but the modifications were pretty easy. #s5923 for the pants. The patch pocket was added to disguise a little tear in the fabric. I’m considering a second set from another vintage sheet I have in the stash... I also used French seams for the whole project. They were surprisingly easy and they are extra classy. I made this pretty robe as a Mother’s Day present from #vintagefabric and trim. In a reversal of my last make, this is a knit pattern that I sewed as a woven. @mccallpatterncompany #b6428. The fabric is wonderfully soft, swipe for brand info that I might try to research later. The trim had original packaging and was priced at 8 cents! How old must it be?
