I started sewing years ago but earnestly got into it because of safari wear - which is expensive and on average not a style I would wear regularly, so I did not think investing it in was sensible or ethical. So this year, when another safari was announcing itself, I made a pledge to document all my wildlife-friendly clothes (which are all with the exception of one top me-made). Another pair of #v1829 view A and a #s9386 top. Hacked the top using bias binding around neck and armholes instead of a facing, cutting the neck opening 1cm wider than the pattern. After having made a toile I left off the collar and lowered the bust darts by an inch too.
