Went on a sewing bender this past week. First up was Vogue #V8877. The tropical leopard print fabric came to me second hand. The print is very not me, but something about those pastels attracts me to it anyway. Paired it with black lace, because why not? Didn't have enough of the print, so improvised a third lace panel for the back piece.

I just love the way the released pleats on the skirt look with the plaid. First up: A hacked Fringe Dress by Chalk & Notch made up in a Nani Iro cotton double gauze. Second: v8877 in a Japanese cat cotton with contrasting solid cotton poplin. After it was done she realized she had decapitated a cat so she appliquéd its head back on, bringing the cat into the solid yoke. More changes have followed. I can’t keep up with her! Lastly, m7390 in drapey Ponte and cotton/linen jacquard.
