I made this dress hoping for something I could wear this summer with my growing bump and hopefully use again in the future after baby. I’m not in love with this floral pattern from my stash so no big loss if it didn’t work out. This is a significantly hacked version of #Vogue1699 #V1699. I liked the underbust seam line. Using the lining pieces I omitted the darts to allow for the gathers and cut the skirt 2 sizes bigger. Dasselbe und doch wieder nicht. Jetzt hab ich das Oberteil des Kleides #v1699 soweit, dass es mir passt. Zwei Abnäher habe ich verlängert, den unteren auch etwas weiter und die vordere Mitte verlegt. Der dritte Ableger ist neu dazugekommen. Das Armloch wäre sonst viel zu weit, wahrscheinlich weil in der zweiten Version ein Ärmel möglich ist. Die Änderungen kann man im letzten Bild gut sehen. Easy and comfortable summer dress. Pattern: Vogue pattern #v1699 view A Fabric: Liberty London Silk Satin lined with china silk Has been debating between view A with the dramatic sleeves or a simpler sleeveless view B. I think either would look great but sleeveless version is a bit more in season now. The fit is supposed to be loose so there are extra ease under bust and hips. Neckline and armhole all hang nicely without any adjustment. Dress is full lined and comes with pockets!
