Our community band does a Halloween concert every year, and the band dresses in costume 🎃 and contributes candy to hand out to children in a costume parade. It's so much fun! I'll be making a proper post on the details; but in short, I used a combination of Simplicity 4083 #S4083 and Simplicity 3723 #S3723 . The petticoat was an old historical petticoat pattern. This was so much fun, and it was really a kick to see it coming together how i had imagined it 😁 I used a few patterns: Jacket, #S4083 with added lining, a much- used pattern. Dress, #S3723 without the sleeves, again a much-used pattern. The main fabric was from @hobbylobby , bodice fabric and buttons from @joann_stores . The petticoat was made nearly 10 years ago, #s5006 The makeup was done spectacularly by @chelsea_b_artistry . I so didn't want to remove the "moss and spiders" at the end of the evening!
