Cooly Rocks On Day 3 was the day of the pageant! Where @miss.sandydee & I got to scream/cheer for 12 amazing humans including @miss.polly.rose who did so well 😍😍😍 . I decided that I needed to go a bit different but still in theme so space kitty's was the obvious answer! I used a true vintage french pattern from 1952 using some space kitty fabric from @spotlightstores & the orange cotton fabric from @emporiumsnz . I made the piping myself to really outline the interesting seam lines on the bodice and added the extra skirt panels in the orange to break up the skirt a bit. . I made my kitty bag using orange fleece also from Ikes Emporium & I combined 2 different cat bag patterns. I used the face of simplicity 8102 & the head shape of simplicity 8443, both which I increased by at least 50% in size. I made a cute little bow out of my space kitty fabric for my bag so then made a matching giant one for my head in the orange fleece. . I added my @erstwilder Fan Favourite colourway Cosmic Kitty brooch to the centre of my head bow, then added my Erstwilder Original colourway Cosmic Kitty brooch to the centre top of my dress. . I finished my outfit with some classic @whatkatiediduk orange seamed stockings, orange & dark purple petticoats & orange heels from my wardrobe. . 本日の1枚。 トラックメイカー Sauce81と、ラッパーのShing02による2018年のアルバム、S8102。 1にビート、2にベース、3、4がなくてあと余談、と言ったのはスチャダラパーですが、こちらのアルバムもなんせビート、そして太いベースが気持ちいい。 Sauce81が作り出す黒いトラックだけで一生聞いていられます。 そこに乗るShing02のラップは全英語詩。 意味が直接入ってこないからこそ何も考えずに聞ける。 それって作品を理解してないってことなのかもしれないけど、内容を知るだけが音を楽しむ答えではない、よね？ サウンドに身を委ねてゆったり揺れるGood Music。 ちなみに昔買ったCEROのシングルを久しぶりに引っ張り出してみたら、リミックスがSauce81で驚いた。 この人だったのか！ 確かにいい音してましたわ。 #s8102 #sauce81 #shing02 #古着屋フリースタイル

This #slowsewing was inspired by @valerielebedev and her #patchwork jacket. I always keep my fabric scraps from projects and have finally put them to use in this @simplicity_creative_group dress for my niece. The pattern is #s8102 and the only change I made was to turn the facings into a full lining.
