We got our steps in at @comic_con today! 👡 Living in #sandiegio, we take advantage of the activities that do not require con tickets, like people watching! About a year ago I got the urge to sew a dress. I finally bought the Butterick 6674 pattern, a few yards of 🌮 fabric from @joann_stores, plus buttons & interfacing, and got to work. B a c k t o w o r k 👜 I've been browsing for so long with the hope that I'd find THE bag I want to bring at work. But THE bag never showed up 😔 despite my $400 budget. If you know me, you know I don't enjoy sewing accessories. So this is why I kept postponing this project. But 2 months before going back to work I decided that it will be my next project. I used a beautiful jacquard fabric I have for 2 years in my starsh. It's beige, it's light pink, it's gold, it's Josie. The lining is a gray gingham linen, the same fabric I made the cushion covers in my bedroom. By the way I still have about 1.5m left and I'm considering making a iron board cover with. Another accessory. Another project that will take 4 years hey. After searching on Pinterest the shape I wanted, I decided to have a middle square and then 2 triangles on the sides. To make the bag I mixed two patterns: Butterwick #B6674 and the great tutorial from @todotoutdoux 🤩 As you can see I made a LOT of pockets inside because.... we never have enough pockets right?
