This is my entry for the @bohofabrics contest using the fabric gifted to me in my swag bag at @dcfrocktails. I was given “Orange Pop on Purple” fabric and made this cute tank top and shorts using McCalls #8392. I put my spin on it by combining 2 different trims for the bottom hem of the shorts and the straps on the top. Out of my comfort zone 😮 Thanks to @unsewcial and @sew.with.caro 🧡 Kris set us a festive challenge where we secretly picked a sewing project for another maker with a mood board of pattern and fabric suggestions. I was told to make a lux sleep set with lace trim in a rich yummy colour. How do you think I did? I only found out yesterday that Caroline was my secret sewing Santa who put together my mood board for this look! So sneaky!!
