I have TWO new projects from this fabulous ramie fabric from @minervadotcom and I'm sharing my shorts first. I needed a plain pair of comfy shorts, and my pinstriped blue and white pair from last summer served me so well, I just repeated them. #pegetawayshorts with the #sacourtneytop. These are the first pair of shorts I made, they are a little baggy in the butt and I still absolutely love them. These shorts have 4 of the biggest pockets I've ever seen and the elastic waist is so comfy. I've made 2 more since this one and went down a size. The top is also a little big around the neckline but I'm still working on fitting tops to my body correctly. Fabric is all from Spotlight and yes, it's a #harrypottershirt

I have TWO new projects from this fabulous ramie fabric from @minervadotcom and I'm sharing my shorts first. I needed a plain pair of comfy shorts, and my pinstriped blue and white pair from last summer served me so well, I just repeated them. This time, I redistributed the fabric at the elastic band to sit more at the back for a flatter front, and I love this little tweak. I think they’re super cute but I’m really just not comfortable in them… they’re elastic waist and are baggy… I usually wear skinny jeans, so this is awkward for me 😂 I made them with the mid waist length but maybe I need to try the lower waist? Denim shorts. Pattern is Getaway shorts by @patternemporium_kate in size 22. They are a bit big in front so I could've taken them in bit around the front and waist but I needed that size for my seated him measurements. When worn with a shirt tucked in or fully out they don't look as baggy. Fabric is a lightweight denim leftover from a skirt I made in 2020. I've decided the hallway of my apartment block is my new spot for taking photos. It's always clean and I can move in different spots depending on the lighting.
