This was originally going to be my #birthdaydress for 2022, however I couldn't help but take it for a spin on our date this weekend. We went to the #clevelandexpo caravan, camping and boating as well as a stroll along the waterfront. Bonus garment. I dig out the remanents of this pure lisle (filo di Scozia) knit fabric cause I needed some replacement pieces to try to fix the #followmewrapdress I showed in the previous post.....turned out there was just enough left to cut a #puatank trial version out of it. This is again a #freesewingpattern from @paradisepatterns , I cut out a size 6 and it seems to fit fine in the upper body, but is a bit snug below the waist area....it could be because of my fabric choice, a pure cotton with no stretch in it. Well, I like it thought! Trying to get this fabulous velour knit pressed (made with love and swearwords label would be perfect for it! 🤬) so that I can hem it....and trying to adjust a pattern that gave me headache last year and ended up in the wips pile till yesterday. First one is the #knotdress that I have made into a top version, it is the #freesewingpattern I have previously used for the #frugalfrocks2021 challenge, from @katiafabrics.
