I bought this fabric years ago, as the last of the line (from @semsfabrics I think?), and have been sitting on it unsure if I could make a maxi dress to do the large border print justice, or if I would suit a maxi. I’m so pleased with the result though! A gathered skirt MRT (not enough for an a-line 😢) that I didn’t love to start, but after a good press, I think I like it! It’s been really cold where I live lately and my old jumpers and coats just aren’t cutting it. I needed something thick and warm so I took myself off to @spotlightstores and found this wool sherpa knit. I made the @patternemporium_kate Reconnect Longline Cardi. But because I needed something to keep the back of my neck warm from any cool breezes, I altered the band to be wider. It can be folded up or down depending on my needs.
