Sewing a garment beyond my usual wardrobe staple is what PE patterns usually do to me! Breathes life into my fashion space! I like toga tops actually, but I hate strapless bras more 😆 . So this one shoulder tank - what’s special? Choices, of course! Semi-fitted , banded, ruffles, wide binding instead of the usual bands, and my top pick? Extra instruction to add shelf bra! I love a jumpsuit, but a faux jumpsuit intrigues me 🧐. I decided to try out the look by combining my @patternemporium_kate #oneshouldertank with a pocket-less @itchtostitch #fortunajoggers from the #sewbeautifulbook . The verdict is . . . so-so. I like both pieces, if only it was in a different fabric. I think this concept would work much better in something with a little more drape than this performance knit from @joann_stores . Oooooeeeeeee it has been a minute since I have been here! I misssssss my morning coffee with insta scrolling 😅 soon. Soon. Just a little bit more work/renovation/soccer mom craziness 🤞 However, in the mess I managed to create a small oasis of my sewing machine, some thread, and an ironing board. And look what I created!!!!!! 😍😍😍 This, friends, is a 𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙥 𝙟𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙮 top!!!!!! It is the easiest stuff to sew ever. Has great stretch and recovery. The fabric has substance - texture.
