Two different takes of the Te Aro pattern. . Elisabeth is casual in View A in black and white stripes, with fuchsia bindings. . Danielle is more dressed up in View C in purple double knit with statement sleeves in a fabulous viscose chiffon with a William Morris print of rabbits and doves. . I usually make my model samples for the models: they get input into the view they want most, and help me choose fabrics. And then they keep the garments. Both Eli and Dani have told me how much they love their Te Aros, and how they get compliments whenever they wear them. After a week of 'All Ettie Petticoat all the time' here's a totally different pattern mood! NZ is currently in lockdown, and it's late winter, so my life is all about cozy clothes that still look professional on zoom calls. So basically it's 'All Te Aro dresses all the time'. I think I might sew myself another one tonight. It would be a nice refresher from zoom meetings, and you can make one of these up in only a couple of hours.
